I was all hyped about summer and then i heard the news... no sooner had i gotten home and signed online that i found out that the instrumental geniuses and the world's finest jam band, Phish, would be calling it quits... for good. FUCK!!! I know none of you idiots care, but I feel like venting dammit. Oh well...one more album and hopes for a massive reunion tour... |

summer is a'creepin and that makes me feel good. I wanna do othing but my dad (being a douche) will most likely make me get a job...but i guess thats better than school, at least i can make some money to fund my music. Well, Im quite sleep- deprived and have an essay due tomorow so Im out like trucker hats.

well the music industry officially is comprised of crap. I am astounded at how a man (usher) can sell millions of records when the basis of his hit is comprised of one word (yeah). Whats funny though is that people seemingly love these lyrics dispite their pointlessness (i.e.- Greg Ryan). Today Greg was hailing Usher's new CD entitled "Confessions"... c'mon now if your gonna make an album called confessions then confess something...dont make one worded songs... On the other hand it does take a man with balls to make an album with that kinda title... I could never make a record called Confessions cause it would be to weird... it would have stuff like:
-Before every school year I beat a hobo to death with a hammer.
-This summer my Uncle came to town; when I saw him i said "its great to see you!".... that was a lie...
-I'm not what you call a real "bather"...
Thank God I'm not a recording artist....yet... |
